What works the best, a Gutter strainer or Gutter Guard?
Leaf Gutter strainers are to prevent leaves and debris clogging gutter spouts and allow water to flow freely. When a leaf filter becomes the problem, then it causes more damage than good.

Most Gutter Guards, leaf filters sold at Home Depot (https://www.homedepot.com/), or Lowes (https://www.lowes.com/) are a waste of time. They either divert most of the water over the gutter or allow leaves and debris to accumulate in the gutter. To clean a gutter out one must remove the gutter guards to get into the gutter, which becomes a real headache.

The problem with most gutter guards and Filters is that they have very fine holes that prevent debris from getting through. Small debris is supposed to flow through while leaves and twigs should be kept out of the gutter.
This new revolutionary filter allows fine debris to filter through while keeping leaves and bigger stuff away from the downspout. The low profile provides a greater area for water to flow through the filter and then water flows under the filter to the spout area.
Z-Gutter Filter is constructed from 16 gauge galvanized wire and then coated with plastic in a 700-degree Fahrenheit oven
